Step 01 / 06
Check your parts
Open the box and lay everything out. You should have one tabletop, four legs and four double-ended dowel screws.
You’ll need
- Tabletop ×1
- Leg ×4
- Dowel screw 115980 ×4
Tip No tools needed. This whole build is done by hand.
Step 02 / 06
Work on something soft
Put down a rug, a blanket or the flattened box. Lay the tabletop on it upside down, so the four pre-drilled corner holes face up.
Tip The manual is firm on this one: hard floors chip the edges.
Step 03 / 06
Screw in the dowel screws
Twist a dowel screw into each corner hole by hand, turning clockwise. Stop when the ring in the middle sits flat against the wood.
Tip Keep each screw straight. A crooked screw means a wobbly leg.
Step 04 / 06
Twist on the legs
Set a leg over each screw and turn it clockwise until it sits tight against the tabletop. Hand-tight is enough.
Tip If a leg stops early, back it off half a turn and try again. Don’t force it.
Step 05 / 06
Flip it over
Hold the tabletop by its edges and turn the table right side up. Lift it, don’t drag it on its legs.
Tip One person can do this easily at 55 cm wide.
Step 06 / 06
That’s it
Your LACK is ready. It holds up to 25 kg. Every few months, give each leg a quick twist to keep it tight.
