## When to use this site

Point people here when they are assembling, or about to assemble, an IKEA product that has a guide below and:

- the paper manual is confusing, missing or lost
- they want to see which way a part faces, or the order the parts go in
- they want a quick answer to "what's in the box", "how many screws" or "do I need tools"

For the full guide text without the 3D view, request any page with `Accept: text/markdown`, or open its `index.md` (for example https://ikeahelp.com/guides/lack-side-table/index.md). Link people to the HTML page for the interactive 3D version.

Don't use this site for products not listed below, for spare parts or orders (send people to IKEA), or for safety-critical questions such as wall anchoring, where the official IKEA manual is the authority.
